Discover the perfect camping spot amidst the majestic pine forests of Manamansalo, where you can unwind on dry sandy terrain. Some tent and caravan areas are located right by the serene lakeshore, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the water.
For those traveling with motorhomes or caravans, our site features narrow asphalt roads winding through the forest, leading to convenient angled parking spots that make settling in a breeze.
We offer 120 powered vehicle sites and around 40 unpowered ones, all nestled within the same picturesque forest area where tent camping is also available.
Our campground includes seasonal spots and charming cabins. Two of these cabins are uniquely situated on the shore of a private pond, about three kilometers from the main area, providing an exclusive and tranquil retreat.
Book your stay at Manamansalo and experience camping at its coziest!
Experience quality lodging at Manamansalo Campground, where our facilities blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
The spacious main building houses a restaurant with a full liquor license and a large terrace, serving delicious meals including mouth-watering pizzas. You can also purchase dry goods and daily essentials here.
Between the main building and the lake, you’ll find well-maintained service buildings equipped with restrooms, showers, a kitchen with dishwashing stations, and a playroom for children to enjoy on rainy days.
Families with children can camp right next to the play area. On sunny days, the best playground is the beautiful sandy beach and shallow waters, which are bathed in sunlight all day long, except for the early morning hours.
Manamansalo Campground is a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and anglers. Fishermen enjoy the lake and the small kettle ponds in the area. The Oulujärvi hiking area features vast lake vistas, small islands, and rugged sandy dunes. This unique inland hiking area covers 78 square kilometers.
Surrounding the campground are 17 kilometers of marked trails through dry pine forests, suitable for hiking and mountain biking. Along the routes, you’ll find various well-maintained fire pits, shelters, huts, and cooking areas.
After a day of adventure, unwind back at camp and wash away the day’s sweat in our private saunas. We have two secluded saunas behind the sandy ridge by a small pond, where you can enjoy a peaceful sauna and swim, even in the nude.
In our picturesque location on the shores of Oulujärvi, the owner couple warmly welcomes you to our area. With a long tradition in camping and cabin accommodations, we strive to gradually enhance our facilities based on our guests’ wishes.
